The Inspection Générale carries out audits assignments on behalf of the BNP Paribas Group Executive Committee on all the activities in the Group in France and worldwide.

The main competency of the Iberian Hub Auditor's job is to carry out assignments within the entities of the Group under the supervision of the Portugal / Spain Managers and the Head of Iberian Peninsula Hub.

The fundamental objectives of this competency are the following:

· Verify the existence and proper application of the internal rules and procedures defined in BNP Paribas policies.

· Verify that the internal rules and procedures of BNP Paribas abide by legal and regulatory requirements applicable to the Group.

· Verify the absence of major weaknesses in the internal control system and its consistency in all group entities, as well as the reliability of the financial, operational and management data.

· Examine the appropriateness of the methods and procedures and the efficiency of the management and control processes used within BNP Paribas.

· Verify that the methods used in acquiring, allocating and preserving the Group's internal resources ﴾human, technological, material, etc.﴿ are cost effective.

· Assess management's ability to assume responsibilities, display leadership qualities and define management orientations.

· Verify the methods used for achieving objectives and for implementing, in optimal conditions, the strategies and action plans defined by the responsible entities in accordance with the general policies of BNP Paribas.

3. Key Responsibilities

· Participate in the risk assessment and update it to reflect changes inherent to internal control system or procedures and to integrate new business lines

· Ensuring that these assignments issue the relevant findings and recommendations, targeted mainly in improving the internal control framework; deciding on the closure of these recommendations and the consequent follow-up in AURORA tool

· Issuing the highest quality reports in accordance with the standards required by the Inspection Générale

· Guarantee the highest possible quality audit workpapers

· Contribute in the completion of the approved audit plans and perform assignments in accordance with IG's standards

· Providing proposals and support in the establishment, within a pluri-annual cycle of the review of all the auditable areas, an internal audit plan taking into account periodicity and criticality criteria. These plans must guarantee proper coverage of the main risks within their scope

· Apply and improve the established methodological principles (HOWTO).

· Utilisation of the tools provided by Inspection Générale (UNIK, My Activity Plus, AURORA…).
