Our Bioscience Research Division works on innovative and sustainable solutions for our customers in sectors, such as the agricultural sector or food industry. RESPONSIBILITIES

Our group Insecticide Chemistry consists of chemists and works closely together with colleagues from biochemistry, agronomy, toxicology, ecotoxicology as well as marketing to identify high performance insecticidal solutions that exhibit sustainable environmental profiles.

·  To identify new starting points for the creation of insecticidal projects, you will search multiple scientific sources.
·  You support the SAR evaluation of ongoing research pipeline projects and work on multi-step organic syntheses to deliver the corresponding analogs.
·  An integral part of your work will be the documentation, presentation and discussion of your research results in our multi-disciplinary teams.
·  You have the chance to work together with internal partners in R&D, especially with experts in environmental sciences.
·  While accomplishing your tasks, you can also continue to develop your entrepreneurial and personal skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  PhD in chemistry
·  solid work experience
·  profound knowledge in organic preparative synthesis
·  good IT-application skills, especially experience in dealing with standard chemistry software
·  excellent communication skills in English
·  creative and motivated team player who is able to work independently
