What you can expect

Our Plant and Equipment Technology unit is a capable point of contact for subject-specific services across the entire lifecycle of production, infrastructure and technical center equipment at the site.

·  In this position, you will work on complex tasks in apparatus technology. You will plan maintenance and repairs and take technical regulations such as DIN EN13445 / AD2000 and DIN EN1090 into account.
·  In addition, you will participate in work on drafting and revising SOPs, processes and standards at the local and global levels.
·  Tasks relating to welding, such as preparing and extending welding procedure qualification tests and welding certificates, as well as quality control in production will be part of your day-to-day work.
·  You will also contribute your professional expertise to support customers in identifying loss or waste and identifying root causes and eliminating disruptions.
·  Beyond that, you will represent this subject area in internal bodies of the technical community and specific units of BASF SE and in dealings with third parties.

What we expect

·  You have a master's degree or the degree of Diplom in a technical or engineering field and have professional experience as an engineer.
·  You have also gained experience in project management and in leading teams in subject-specific terms, and you ideally have practical experience in the chemical industry.
·  You are a proficient user of SAP.
·  You have earned certification as an international welding engineer (SFI) and have experience with factory production control according to DIN EN 1090.
·  You also communicate effectively with internal and external partners alike thanks to your excellent German and English language skills.
