Job Purpose:

At AXA head-office, acts as an expert member of the AXA Group Accounting Policy team, which is responsible for the correct application of accounting principles used for the publication of the Group financial statements under IFRS:

· Participates to the implementation of new IFRS accounting policies, prepare specifically the transition to IFRS 9, the new standard on financial instruments, for which the holder of the position will work in close relation with IFRS 9 project manager and in with departments/ entities within the Group,
· Contributes in preparing AXA consolidated financial statements.

In this IFRS9 context, the Group Norms team is recruiting a Financial Investment expert.

Key Accountabilities:

The position includes the contribution to IFRS 9 Group project in the following areas:

· Takes part in the implementation process of the new standard:
· Definition of the accounting policies/options/guidance in relation with Group experts and asset managers,
· Preparation of new disclosures and update of the existing ones working with financial accounting and reporting consolidation teams, and with IT project team,
· Trainings for entities and central teams,
· Instructions for the dry run and parallel run, coordination and consolidation of the results with PBRC Conso team and SHIP (Shared Investment Platform for assets' accounting & reporting) Center of Excellence.
· Contributes to the update of Group's Accounting Policy Manual and support entities in the first application of IFRS 9 (Opening Balance Sheet and subsequent closings).
· Contributes to the writing guidelines and Group Instructions for entities for the periodical closing process.
· Performs Project Management tasks and contributes to the governance of the project: preparation and participation to the Project committees with various project' stakeholders, GMS coordination committees with top management, and Steering Committees with entities.

Profil recherché

Qualifications :

Main Competencies:

To perform this role, the individual must have required experience in the following areas:

·  Financial assets accounting background, ideally graduate specialising in Finance, Accounting or Auditing,
·  Minimum 3-5 years experience in finance related function (audit or consultant firm, accounting / investment departments of large companies)
·  Good knowledge of IFRS standards applicable to financial assets: IAS 39 and IFRS9,
·  Experience and strong knowledge of financial assets and accounting / reporting for financial instruments,
·  Fluent operational English is essential (all meetings, notes, documentation, presentations in English),
·  Rigorous with a high degree of autonomy and initiative,
·  Project management skills with a clear ability to build high quality relationships with all stakeholders (business and IT),
·  Capability to analyze results and take a step-back to identify solutions and design process that will work on the long run,
·  Excellent communication skills (oral and written),
·  High level of result orientation and ability to work under challenging timelines,
·  Ability to work in an intercultural environment.
