Position Title:  

Sr. Network Engineer

 

Location:  

Rancho Cordova, California

 

Shift:

Monday – Friday, day shift with potential holidays and weekends required

 

Core Responsibilities:

·  Daily support of the customers network
·  Support for network projects
·  Support of P1/P2 incidents
·  Support of network design
·  Support management of network documentation and procedures

Minimum Requirements:

·  5 to 10 years of network engineering and network support
·  Expert in firewalls (cisco or checkpoint or Palo Alto)
·  Full knowledge of tools like Visio, word, power point
·  Basic knowledge in IT security.
·  Excellent documentation skills
·  Experience with Infoflox
·  Experience with Aruba
 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
·  Cisco CCNA, CCNP or CCIE
·  College degree in IT or engineering
·  Expert in Cisco nexus devices all models
·  Expert in Load balancers (cisco, FT, Netscaller)
·  extensive knowledge of major routing protocols – BGP EIGRP etc
·  extensive knowledge of switching, vlans, etc
·  Knowledge and use of network management system-spectrum, ehealth, wiresharp, CAPM, CAAM, syslog, etc.
·  Extensive knowledge of WAN/LAN technologies
·  knowledge of wireless networks and wireless controllers
·  Full knowledge of IP space management  
·  Expert in VPN – Pulse Secure
·  Expert in Riverbed
·  Cloud Expert – Azure, Google, Zscaller,
