IIOT/IOT Architect

The IIOT/IOT Architect provides expertise in the definition; adoption and adherence to enterprise and application architecture strategies, processes and standards relating to IIOT / IOT applications hosted on cloud.

Responsibilities

· Design and Implementation of application architectures that meet customers (internal / external) requirements and are consistent with enterprise architectural standards
· Communicate & collaborate with customers, internal stakeholders and development team
· Participate in customer interaction, requirements gathering and preparing high level solution design
· Support management in RFP, Estimation and work breakdown.
· Defining IIoT/IoT application strategies & solutions for customer applications
· Acts as a thought leader and arbiter of decisions in their specific areas of expertise.

Required Education/Experience

· MCA/BE/BTECH degree in Computer Science or related discipline
· 10-13 years of overall IT experience
· Minimum of 3 years of Architecting, designing complex, applications solutions using java/open source based frameworks on IoT/IIoT/Industrial Automation area.
· Minimum of 2 years in designing application or working experience on cloud technologies.

Required Skills

· Technical requirement:
· Spring (REST/Security/Boot/MVC), java middleware,
· Web services – SOAP, REST
· Messaging technologies like Kafka, RabbitMQ
· Device Protocols/Communication M2M, MQTT, CoAP, OPC UA
· Experience on Azure IoT/ Aws IoT Platform .
· Working experience on different sensors or industrial automation devices
· Work experience on Cloud foundry based cloud would be advantage.
· Domain Acumen – Strong domain knowledge in multiple industry domains like manufacturing / healthcare / Power etc added advantage.
· Business Acumen – Ability to command the respect of not only information technology peers, but also business management. Strong understanding of business requirements and processes as they relate to enterprise architecture and the implementation of technology infrastructure.
· General Management/Leadership – Recognized as a leader able to inspire others through conviction, vision, and the ability to formulate and articulate direction in the area of infrastructure architecture.
· Ability to forge single-purpose commitment from others with disparate objectives
· Interpersonal Relations – Sells approaches through the power of ideas rather than mandates.

Desired Skills

· Strong working knowledge of Java/middleware technologies and there impacts in a cloud technology infrastructure
· Ability to work with business and technology staff in a collaborative application design and development environment
· Strong, working verbal and written business and technical communication skills
