Medical Support Services delivered by Atos is an independent assessment provider acting on behalf of the Department for Communities to assess Employment and Support Allowance, Industrial Injuries and Attendance Allowance.

Our role is to help DfC understand how a person’s health condition or disability affects their daily lives.

Our team of trained Health Professionals includes registered nurses (both general and mental health specialists), physiotherapists, occupational therapists and doctors.  All of our team are experienced practitioners and trained as disability analysis.

 

 

Back Office Administrator

 

This is a GCM 2 Full-time permanent role of 37.5 hours per week based in Belfast.

 

As a Support Team Back Office Administrator your main responsibilities will involve:

·  Providing administrative support to the back and front office – this would include (but not exhaustive) initial stages involved in the vetting process, booking of travel/accommodation for training purposes, processing claimant expenses, creation/deletion of new entrant/staff leaver records
·  Raising of Purchase Orders along with associated payment to suppliers
·  Setting and workflow management of files required for audit – incorporating the upkeep of all grades on central database
·  Accurate production of documentation to support Healthcare Professional’s ability to undertake specific work streams
·  Telephone communication with clients and suppliers regarding claims and purchases
·  Checking of Healthcare Professional’s Registration status
·  Timely control of file work being returned to Department for Communities
·  Effectively managing out-going Royal Mail post
·  General administrative duties
·  Ad-hoc duties given by management

 

Job Requirements

 

As a Back Office Administrator your skills and qualifications will include:

·  Ability to demonstrate a clear attention to detail: Able to gather relevant information, update information correctly and presenting information clearly and accurately
·  Ability to undertake administrative tasks in a clear and logical structure, ensuring relevant information is documented in a consistent manner.

 

You will be required to undergo and successfully gain a BPSS and Access NI security clearance check in order to undertake this position

 

Desirable Skills and Experience

 

·  Previous experience in administrative work including data inputting
·  Ability to use Microsoft Outlook and Excel
·  Process an understanding of working towards service level targets
·  Previous experience of working in an office environment
