 "AWS Solution Architecture Associate•EssentialoGitlab / Git / CI/CD – we’re using an RS instance of Gitlab as a code repository, although if people have used Github the skills would be transferable. So we need people who understand Git branches, push / pull, merging etc. In addition we’re using GitLab Runners for Continuous Integration Continuous Development (CI/CD) so we need people familiar with this approach and are able to create pipelines, although people who have used Jenkins would have transferable skills.oTerraform – We’re provisioning resources through Terraform, so all members of the team provisioning or updating resources will need to understand, write and execute Terraform. Someone with CloudFormation would have a basic understanding, although it’d still take them a while to get up to speed with Terraform.oPacker – We’re using Packer to create Gold Build images in AWS (called AMIs). There are no alternative tools that I’m aware of that would have transferable skills.oAnsible – some of our OS configuration management, and config going into Packer is written in Ansible so this is a required skill.•DesirableoPython – Some of our Lambda functions are written in Python so this would be useful, although if not possible suggest finding some team that could support if they needed altering as the amount of Python based work would be small and occasional.oDatadog – We’re using Datadog for monitoring. If the resource has Datadog skills that would be a bonus, although I wouldn’t discount someone if they haven’t."
