DESCRIPTION

Amazon is looking for an exceptional Designer to join their global CX Labs team. In this role, you will be creating digital experiences connecting consumers to Amazon devices and services like Alexa, Echo, Fire TV, Kindle, tablets and more. You will be creating a digital asset used to engage and attract customers on across a wide number of customer touch-points. You will be working alongside a global team of designers, writers, and production teams to deliver your designs.

The ideal candidate must have experience in human-centered design, working in a creative iterative process. In addition to strong design skills, a candidate must have strong strategic thinking, organizational skills, experience leading or working in digital, wed/mobile, graphic design and acute attention to detail. They must have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a collaboration mindset. They can gracefully present and defend their design decisions to senior leadership, and can easily partner with and provide feedback to internal and external business-owners regularly.

Responsibilities
· Create merchandising and marketing campaigns that elevate Amazon's device brand across multiple online and offline channels
· Understand and respond to performance data (metric tests, usability studies), and steer the direction of future creative designs
· Understand user experience best practices for web design & mobile interactions
· Use current and future marketing channels to inform and delight our customers
· Present and defend visual design solutions to leadership & business partners
· Collaborate with the Amazon design community at large to ensure consistent brand use across multiple marketing channels
· Grow team knowledge of best design practices and trends in web and graphic design
· Work with various categories to refresh/improve Amazon's devices presence in their categories

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating graphic design, online marketing, retail merchandising, visual branding, and user-centered design solutions.
· Bachelor's degree in design or 5+ years professional experience of experience in online marketing, digital advertising & retail or e-commerce design
· Experience with design principles, typography, layout and grid structures.
· Experience managing multiple projects with varying deadlines
· Motion graphics and / or relevant animation experience
· Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch and other image-optimizing applications to create online user experiences
