As a Video Producer and Editor for the AWS Support Global Learning and Knowledge Team, you will have the exciting opportunity to work with a rapidly growing global team of talented learning professionals, technical writers, and engineers. AWS Support provides global technical support to a wide range of external customers as they build mission-critical applications on top of AWS services. AWS Support has an opening for a Video Producer and Editor located in Seattle, WA who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and has strong content and video development experience. As a Video Producer and Editor, you will be responsible for using your video production and post-production editorial experience to design engaging videos for technical and non-technical audiences. The Video Producer and Editor will be focused on video production and video camera work with a strong emphasis on video editing. The Video Producer and Editor will own each project and will be responsible for the video production from developing the concept through post-production editing and publication. You will work with our SMEs to create video scripts, schedule video shoots, shoot videos, and edit post-production content. You will need to be able to thrive as a self-starter, think of ways to improve processes, and manage production timelines. You will play a significant role in the development of a successful and effective global AWS Support team.

The primary responsibilities for a Video Producer and Editor include:
· Edit end-user video scripts that are used to create self-service videos (conceptual and procedural-based writing) that describe the AWS service or troubleshooting processes.
· Collaborate with AWS Support Engineers to optimize and maintain internal and external support content for usability and accessibility, while maintaining a high bar for quality.
· Work collaboratively with internal and external global stakeholders to conceptualize and develop multimedia content that tells stories and strengthens the AWS brand.
· Use visual storytelling skills and extraordinary attention to detail to evaluate, uphold, implement, and evangelize content standards that adhere to AWS brand and style guidelines.
· Produce and edit videos for publication on the AWS website.
· Contribute to all aspects of the video production process—from planning to content maintenance.
· Plan and document the progress for each video.
· Report on video production and associated video metrics.
· This role requires travel at least 30% of the time to global AWS Support sites to gather video footage.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications The ideal candidate will be passionate about the AWS customer experience, the success of AWS Support employees, and learning about cloud computing. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and producing knowledge base content and video tutorials. Candidates will be asked to submit a demo reel of previous motion design work and an online portfolio that demonstrates production, video, motion design, and post-production skills. The ideal candidate will also have the following attributes:
· Acute attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment.
· Experience with live-action video shoots.
· The ability to conceptualize technical and functional content and turn it into something creative that customers enjoy consuming.
· The ability to research, develop, write, and edit effective content with a focus on the intended audience.
· Knowledge of video industry standard formats, and media management practices on Windows or Mac platforms and networked environments.
· Comfortable with recording and editing a high volume of video content.
· Experience with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, color correction, and Camtasia including knowledge of 2D animation and 3D effects.
· The ability to self-direct, multi-task, and prioritize assignments with strong attention to detail.
