Those new cloud services have presented new challenges to networking for better flexibility, programmability and scalability. We are part of AWS EC2 core networking , and are responsible for distributing all customer VPC Control Plane data to Data Plane efficiently, including Amazon retail services which you do online shopping with.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
· Understanding of CI/CD and Agile software engineering practices
· Background in support for large scale software implementations
· Experience with distributed computing and enterprise-wide systems
· Knowledge of networking concepts and AWS VPC features

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 2+ years of non-internship experience in server infrastructure or network administration
· 1+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as C, C++, GoLang, Java, or Python including object-oriented design
· 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
· Strong Linux administration experience from provisioning to performance tuning, and a solid grasp on operating system fundamentals
· Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and collaborative problem-solving skills
· Comfortable working across multiple teams and organizations
· Strong sense of ownership and drive
