You will be a member of a world-class software development team that is comprised of Software Dev. Engineers and Support Engineer. The team is responsible for developing, maintaining, and scaling the feeds and reports systems that support our growing customer base and the work environment is fast-paced and collaborative. As a Technical Support Engineer you will own scaling our systems, eliminating root causes for reported issues, proactively testing and eliminating issues, and building tooling to identify and resolve customer-facing issues. Key metrics you will be contributing to are towards the health of our systems measured by the volume of reported issues and time to resolve issues.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field
· 4+ years overall development/technical support experience
· Experience in Perl/Python/shell scripts
· Knowledge of the UNIX/Linux operating system
· Knowledge of Java based technologies
· Knowledge of AWS based technologies like DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, SQS, Kinesis
· Ability to write intermediate level database queries. SQL skills.
· Understanding of XML/SOAP, web services, workflow modeling, and web application development
