Job description

DESCRIPTION

EBS is hiring in Boston!

Amazon Web Services is looking for experienced engineering leaders to help us define and build the future of computing. The AWS Elastic Block Store (EBS) service delivers high performance virtualized storage "in the cloud" for EC2. Durable storage is a key building block for any application and as a member of the EBS team you'll work alongside other outstanding engineers to develop and operate one of the largest storage services in the world.

Be a founding member of a new group within EBS in Boston. As an engineer within this group you will be responsible for leading development of new features, learning and growing with other engineers, and generally improving the customer experience for one of the world's largest storage services.
Amazon EBS (Elastic Block Store) is a virtualized storage service that offers highly available, high performance storage for EC2. As one of the core building block of AWS, EBS has experienced phenomenal growth since inception. This is a great opportunity to work on one of the most challenging problems in the cloud, with incredibly talented teammates who know how to ship. If you are passionate about large scale distributed systems, massive data analytics, or are interested in systems and kernel programming, then EBS is the perfect place for you.
