DESCRIPTION

An exciting opportunity as a Italy Payroll OPS Projects Analyst is available for a dedicated professional in our Milan office. As part of our growing Global Payroll Operations team, you will be providing expert support to our payroll operations team in Slovakia and our HR Stakeholders including: Benefits & Compensation teams, Mobility teams, HR Business Partners and HR Directors. We are looking for someone with vast experience in processes like: multiple CBAs, Social Security, Terminations, Tax law, RSU programs, shadow payroll (expatriate employees), labor code (not an exhaustive list). The ideal individual is passionate about payroll, has the ability to transfer knowledge through delivery of trainings and preparing documentation.

In addition to advising our clients on a wide variety of topics, the Global Payroll team helps the company provide accurate and timely payroll to our more than 500,000 employees worldwide. More detail of the role's responsibilities:
· Ensuring the payroll system and processes are compliant with Italian legislation, CBAs and Amazon’s policies/requirements
· Ensuring the processes are as automated as possible through collaboration with the Operational Excellence and Business Analysts team
· Vendor management - owner of relationship
· Owner of Terminations, Social Security, Shadow Payrolls, RSU processes: provides support to complex cases, designs the right data flow through the different systems and teams, owns process documentation, and knowledge transfer for the operations team
· Be a partner to HR for CBA negotiations and implementation
· Be a subject matter expert for payroll implementation
· Provide onsite office hours to support employee queries in the different locations in Italy
· Owning all process documentation and coordinating with the different payroll analysts to keep them up to date
· Provide back up in case is required by the operations team when there are unexpected absences

· The motivation and determination to be curious and increase their own knowledge by asking questions and using all available resources
· Being able to organize and prioritize the workload and manage multiple tasks / deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and level of service
· High degree of accuracy and good attention to detail
· Excellent team player with the ability to build effective relationships across the organization and promote an environment of trust and flexibility
· Must have the ability to recognize potential problems at an early stage and work towards identifying solutions
· Build and maintain ongoing relationships with partners across the region

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Consulente del lavoro (registered and certified) (MUST)
· Extensive experience of Italian payroll (+7 years), deep knowledge of Italian legislation and statutory obligations
· Fluent in Italian and English, both orally and in writing
· Payroll Accounting
· Must be dedicated in driving efficiencies and producing new ideas to improve the current processes
