Seller Support area provides sellers the support they need to be successful on the Amazon platform. We support a wide range of technology platforms across several countries and interacts directly with the seller where the product is highly technical and sophisticated in nature.
Seller Support is looking to appoint a Business Analyst to the Operational Excellence Team. This role is responsible for converting data into actionable business insights. Business Analysts are analysis experts who leverage a variety of data platforms and analytical tools to provide timely, meaningful, and consumable information. They build deep contextual and domain knowledge. They ensure data quality and build scalable tools. They communicate findings with the most effective and influential methods.

セラーサポート部門は、AmazonのWebサイト上で商品を出品している出品者（セラー）様からのお問い合わせに対応する部門です。複数の国で使用されているさまざまなプラットフォームに関する技術的なお問い合わせを担当し、出品者様と直接やり取りをする重要な業務を担っています。
セラーサポート部門では、Operational Excellence TeamでBusiness Analystを募集しています。この職務は、データを実用的なビジネスインサイトに変換する役割を担います。ビジネスアナリストは、さまざまなデータプラットフォームと分析ツールを活用して、タイムリーで、ビジネス価値のある、かつ実用的な情報を提供する分析のエキスパートです。深いビジネス背景を理解し、ドメイン知識を構築しつつ、またデータ品質を保証し、拡張可能なツールを構築します。そして、最も効果的で影響力のある方法でそれらの見解をフィードバックしていくことが求められます。

RESPONSIBILITIES

DEFINE PROBLEM & SOLUTION FRAMEWORK
Translate complex or ambiguous business problem statements into analysis requirements.

· Proactively and independently work with stakeholders to construct use cases and associated standardized outputs.
· Scale data processes and reports; write queries that clients can update themselves; lead work with data engineering for full-scale automation.
DATA ACQUISITION

Having a strong understand of data infrastructure to be able to pull data using efficient query development and when needed, compile data from multiple sources to triangulate on data fidelity.

· Provide historical and real-time performance reports to stakeholders with high level data while also providing detailed and in-depth analysis on results.
ANALYSIS/INSIGHT

Solve ambiguous analyses with less well-defined inputs and outputs; drive to the heart of the problem/ identify root causes and present results to management and key stakeholders.

· Derive recommendations from analysis that significantly impact a department, create new processes, or change existing processes
· Compile statistical data and write narrative reports summarizing trend analysis/quality assurance findings and recommendations.
COMMUNICATION/ INFLUENCE

Communicate complex analytical insights and business implications effectively while also identifying opportunities to improve current processes.

· Develop ongoing relationships with global reporting team to learn, support and share best practices, to ensure compatibility between site and org level reports.
· Become the onsite POC with a strong knowledge of the Amazon systems used and where the raw data is pulled from to generate reports, i.e. GACD Metrics, and Euclid.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Actively manage the timeline and deliverables of projects, focusing on interactions within the team.

· Represent team on medium-size analytical projects within own organization and effectively communicate across teams.
· Set goals, hold team members accountable for performance and effectively communicate the departments vision to team members.

· パフォーマンスレポートを、履歴およびリアルタイムで、主要な関係者に提供すると同時に、ハイレベルサマリーとそれに伴う詳細な分析も提供します。
分析/洞察

明確に定義されていないインプットとアウトプットを用い、あいまいな分析を実行する。根本的な原因を特定し、結果をマネジメントおよび主要な関係者に提示します。

· 関係部署へ影響が大きい分析結果から、ビジネスへの提案、新しいプロセスの作成、既存のプロセスの変更を導き出します。
· 傾向分析/品質管理に関する推奨事項をまとめた、統計データ及びナレーションレポートを収集・作成します。
コミュニケーションと影響

複雑な分析の洞察とビジネスへの影響を効果的に伝え、現状のプロセスを改善する機会を特定します。

· 組織レベルでのレポートの互換性を維持するために、グローバルBusiness Analyst Teamとの継続的な関係を構築し、ベストプラクティスの習得と共有を行います。
· GACDメトリック、ユークリッドなど、Amazonシステムとレポートを生成するためのデータソースについて知識を深め、オンサイトPOCとしての役割を担います。
プロジェクト管理

チーム内での交流と意思疎通を円滑に保ち、プロジェクトのタイムラインと成果物を積極的に管理します。

· 中規模の分析プロジェクトの管理者としてチームを代表し、効果的にチーム間で連携を図ります。
· チームメンバーに対して、目標を設定し、成果・役割を課し、チームビジョンを効果的に伝えます。

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Proficient in business Japanese.
· Strong command of Excel, other MS Office programs and SQL.
· Ability to work under pressure in a fast-pasted dynamic environment.
· Clear thinking and logical with an ability to deal with ambiguity.
· Must display fine attention to detail - successfully completes tasks requiring deep attention to a high volume of detailed information with the ability to build quality process into job functions.
· Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
· Ability and flexibility to meet tight deadlines
· Takes pride in own work and understands the importance of teamwork
