DESCRIPTION

As the QA Engineer for the Employee Services Technology (ES Tech) Automation Products & Services team, you will be a key contributor for delivering against strategic automation initiatives that support growth, operational efficiency, and technology modernization for the Employee Services Tech organization. The ES Tech teams provide services for the lifecycle of an employee (from before they are hired until they retire) across multiple geographies using multiple systems (HCM, Time & Attendance, Payroll, etc.). Your testing efforts will support these services, geographies, and systems.

Responsibilities:
· Develop comprehensive project test plans
· Develop and efficiently execute manual and automated QA, regression, system integration, and performance test scripts based on user story acceptance criteria and/or functional specifications
· Work with business systems analysts to understand user stories and/or functional specifications
· Work with developers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented
· Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution
· Interpret and report testing results
· Be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process ensuring the highest quality product is delivered
· Evaluate and integrate open source and in-house developed toolsets

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
· Experience in any RPA is a plus
· Experience in Human Resources systems
· Demonstrated knowledge of HCM relational databases and table structure
· Experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 or above, Workday HCM, Kronos time keeping
· Shows creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness
· Experience with large scale multi country business solutions
· Must be comfortable in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and able to manage multiple and/or changing priorities
· Ability to operate within short and long release cycles
· Superior communicator, both written and verbal; the ability to explain and present details to both technical and business audiences

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in manual testing
· 4+ year of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer
· Experience in automation testing
· 5+ years software QA testing expertise
· 5+ years of expertise in testing methodologies, experience with standard QA and development tools
· Experience in API, Web, and automated testing
· Experience with TestRail or similar test case tracking system
· Experience building automation processes using automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Python. Java, C++/C#, etc.)
· Understanding of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies and experience working in both environments
