We are looking for a business/reporting analyst to help us evolve our data landscape in order to deliver high impact, high visibility dashboards and reporting using tools like Plot.ly, open javascript tools etc . As a member of our team, you will leverage your passion for BI to seek out and structure data to support our analytics capabilities forward.
· Develop front end/UX for the analytics solutions using Python and open source languages.
· Assist the rapid prototyping of new solutions with Plot.ly, javascripting UI etc.
· Design innovative approaches to view and interact with data for analysis. Create functional requirements as input to application design while identifying the type of visualization that best suits your client’s needs.
· Develop and test functional designs for BI, data discovery and analytics solutions.
· Use your tech-savvy know-how to ensure functional requirements are met.
· Work with the team to support application build, test, and deploy activities.
· Demonstrate strong problem solving skills, working with stakeholders and other team members to fully analyze issues and develop scalable solutions • Interact with the other business analysts, customers and BIEE's to understand current and future requirements for dashboard development.
· Design, develop, and support interactive visual dashboards and reports. Pro-actively and independently identify solutions and formulate actions plans to resolve problems.
· Collaborate with the technical team, in any given product development cycle, on data requirements such as data structure, data flow, dependencies, and data mapping in the context of a relational database.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Back end framework like J2EE, Web Services/ RESTful/SOAP Front end framework like AngularJS, HTML, CSS, React etc Self learner/Problem solver

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Masters degree in computer science or related discipline.
· 4+ years of experience in javascripting/report building experience/UI experience.
· Experience with developing reports, workflows and metrics within a software environment.
· Plot.ly experience
