Enterprise Strategist and Evangelist, APAC

Are you a technology executive that has leveraged the cloud to transform a large organization’s technology and business capabilities? Can you help executives and leaders from around the business understand the value of ground-breaking technology solutions and how to implement them? Have you led a large technical and cultural change management program/transformation? Have you helped an organization manage and/or change how they leverage their partners?

At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we're hiring enterprise strategists to guide our enterprise efforts and advise the largest companies on how they can transform the way they use technology to deliver business value. Our enterprise strategists use their personal experiences building on AWS, combine them with the experiences of other customers, and help enterprises understand and realize the business value they can unlock using the AWS platform. This role is part technical vision and strategy and part cultural guidance and advisement.

Ideal candidates will be able to speak to all aspects of technology delivery in large organizations – leadership, application development, operations, security, business case development, technology budgeting, etc. They will author blog posts, create presentations and other customer-facing content, deliver that content to customers both individually and at events ranging from dozens to thousands of customers, and they will make sure our customers and partners are successful at building and transforming their business on AWS. Finally, enterprise strategists will work with all of our internal teams to refine our product and commercial strategy for enterprises.

· Implement AWS inside of large organizations.
· Manage executive-level relationships both internally and externally.
· Articulate how to implement large-scale change.
· Deliver enterprise-wide technology projects.
· Design, build, and operate global IT infrastructures.
· Empathize with and influence change in large and complex organizations that move the status quo.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· A Bachelors degree; Masters/MBA degree preferred.
· 10+ years in a technology-related leadership/executive position.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group leadership and executive presentations.
· Be mobile and travel to client locations as needed. Estimated 40-60% travel requirement.
· Pre-established credibility, contacts, and recognition in speaking engagements and technology publications is preferred.
