A strategically important part of our charter is to build and drive adoption across a portfolio of self-service, cost per click advertising products to enable head to tail advertisers to engage with customers in relevant ways. Examples of products already in the market are Sponsored Products and Amazon Marketing Services. Our team is tasked with making it easy for sellers and vendors to advertise their products, thereby increasing the visibility of their products, which also helps Amazon customers discover more selection—a win-win!

We are looking for an Email Marketing Manager to join our team to drive Seller and Vendor awareness and adoption across self-service advertising products through one-to-many marketing channels. We are looking for someone to own email communications program as it relates to brands and partners (agencies), and be responsible for both strategy and implementation of email campaigns. This role will own email campaigns across the customer lifecycle, including acquisition, optimization, and retention,as well as associated results reporting. The Email Marketing Manager will use advertiser information to create segment-based communication strategies supported by customized content, own and create trigger-based programs, keep our advertisers informed of new product features and enhancements, as well as market promotions and events. Key Responsibilities:
· Plan and execute email communications specific to brands and partners, and grow the email marketing channel.
· Identify, design and implement innovative messaging to drive advertiser launches at scale.
· Deliver campaigns that inform advertisers of new product developments, promotions, and optimization opportunities.
· Optimize against key metrics including CTR, open rates, revenue lift, engagement, and retention.
· Work with designers to develop creative content for emails and landing pages.
· Work with editors to develop compelling messaging in support of acquisition, optimization, and retention messaging.
· Manage a process of iterative A/B testing to continually improve performance through optimized messaging and targeting.
· Conduct analysis and reporting for the email marketing channel.
· Track email best practices, monitor industry trends, and make recommendations.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or other related field or equivalent experience
· 3-5+ years relevant work experience in online and/or B2B marketing
· 3-5+ years' experience managing an email marketing program
· Experience with SQL and/or similar queries to analyze data
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
