The Emerging Devices team, within Amazon Devices (Amazon Echo, Fire TV, Fire Tablets, and more), is looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented individuals to join our fast paced, start-up environment to help invent the future. We solve significant customer problems in the consumer electronics space through devices, mobile applications, cloud services (AWS), computer vision, and machine learning.

Our team is seeking a passionate junior designer to help define our design vision and quality across brand guidelines, packaging, advertising, digital experiences, content streams, social, and more while collaborating with product managers, UX designers, and social leads.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong understanding of UX design and social
· Motion and animation skillset for application on social, advertising, and UX
· Strong bias for action including the ability to juggle multiple priorities and effectively deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· Possess excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills
· Be willing to roll up the sleeves to meet business and product deliverables

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· An online portfolio of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions across a range of mediums including motion design strongly encouraged.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
· Proven experience with rapid, iterative design and development processes
· Proven track record presenting to and influencing people, from other designers to senior executive management
· Experience leading projects in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team including designers, writers, product managers, and marketers
