As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will work with our Finance team and partner with business to create automated and scalable analytical tools that will ultimately be a key driver in driving the growth of the company. You will leverage our data to drive operational efficiencies, provide key data-driven insights, enable new opportunities and innovate on behalf of business customers. You will drive future solutions that will impact how we capture new customers and delight our existing ones, and you'll have a lot of fun along the way! Your responsibilities will include:
· Owning the core reporting infrastructure and ensuring accuracy, availability and reliability.
· Generating actionable insights through the development of metrics, dashboards and deep dive analyses.
· Providing customer insights to provide guidance on new customer opportunities by segment and customer size.
· Serving as a technical, business metrics guru and insight provider in the organization.
· Acting as a key interface between business and technical divisions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Masters in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Math, Finance, Operations Research or other quantitative field
· Proven experience in BI/DW as a change leader providing strategic research, recommendations, and implementation in both business and technical roles
· Familiarity with Amazon's cloud infrastructure including Redshift, EC2, etc.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· BS in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Math, Finance, Operations Research or other quantitative field
· 5+ years of relevant work experience in data science, business analytics, business intelligence (BI), or comparable experience in big data environments
· 3+ years of experience in data mining and dataset preparation using SQL
· 3+ years of experience in data visualization tools like Quicksight or Tableau.
· Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
· Experience in designing and building data infrastructure / automated reporting tools
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to explain technical concepts and analysis clearly to a diverse audience, including senior executives, and be able to translate business objectives into actionable analyses
