DESCRIPTION

We are looking to hire for a stand out BIE for our team responsible for building out analysis, visualization tools and processes to inform our business decisions. The successful candidate will be able to retrieve, integrate, visualize and present critical data in a format that is immediately useful to improve the business decision-making process. This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities as well as an outstanding business acumen. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, who has a strong attention to detail, and enjoys working with large-scale data.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support our business needs and improve the efficiency of supply chain for ultra-fast delivery programs
· Partner with operations/business teams to consult, develop and implement KPI's, automated reporting/process solutions and data infrastructure improvements to meet business needs.
· Apply your deep analytic and business intelligence skill to extract meaningful insight and learning from large and complicated data sets. You will be responsible for modeling complex/abstract problems and discovering insights through the use of statistical and visualization techniques. Further, you will develop metrics and dashboards to communicate these insights to the Ops teams.
· The complexity of research and skills for this role is well beyond basic data entry and research. It involves complex analysis/dive deep into key metrics based on requests, building and maintaining multiple databases, knowledge of software applications to create tools, and understanding of multiple programming languages.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field
· 3+ years of relevant work experience in a role requiring application of analytic skills to integrate data into operational planning/business planning or advanced degree
· Manipulate/mine data from database tables (ex. Redshift, MySQL, Oracle) using SQL.
· Manipulate/mine data from log files by writing scripts (ex. PERL, Python, UNIX)
· Perform deep-dives and root cause analysis to answer business questions
· Advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Tableau or similar BI tools
· Advanced ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them (verbal/written) to the stakeholders and senior management as required.
· Be self-driven, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or dirty data.
· An ability and interest in working in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment
