Alexa Skills Kit is looking for a skilled business intelligence engineer to join our International Data team in the area of speech and language data analysis. We are seeking a customer-obsessed individual with strong analytical skills and technology experience to help us measure, analyze and solve complex data problems. Your work will directly impact how we evolve and grow this key initiative.
A successful candidate will be an expert with SQL, ETL and have excellent communication skills. The candidate will need to be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, pay careful attention to detail, self-driven, deliver reliable results.
The key responsibilities include:
· Deliver readily-consumable datasets for analyst and data scientist
· Gather requirements from customers and deliver complete reporting solution
· Own the design, development, maintenance and improvement of ongoing metrics, reports, dashboards to drive key business decisions
· Adopt best practices and implement strategies for data audit, data integrity, and validation

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
· 2+ Years experience with SQL, data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing.
· Experience with dashboard and data visualization using Tableau
· 2+ years of coding experience in at least one modern programming language (Python, R, Ruby, Scala, Java, Spark etc.)
