DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Senior BA who wants to grow towards data sciences and statistical modeling. The person should be passionate about data, uncovering insights, and telling business stories to leaders and stakeholders through metrics and visualizations, as well as able to create complex data models to forecast right. You will inform strategy, track performance, and drive excellence. This role demands a high capacity to Learn and Be Curious as we need to be constantly adapting to changes in our business and up to speed on the latest systems, tools, and techniques for generating actionable insights from data. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work and learn alongside talented Business Analysts, Business Intelligence Engineers, Economists, and Data Scientists.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to
· Design, develop, and maintain ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards on the key drivers of our business.
· Mine insights an tell compelling business analysis stories across topics such as selection, pricing, forecasting, supply chain and marketing
· Partner with Economists and Data Scientists to support complex statistical analyses and productionize forecasting models
· Learn new BI, Retail, and Ops systems such that you can meaningfully support process innovation using automation techniques.
· Engage stakeholders in constructive dialogues to convert business problems into logic problems that can be solved with data, statistics, and scripting
· Design, develop, and implement scalable, automated processes for data extraction, processing, and analysis

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
· 4+ years of professional experience in a business analyst/data analyst/statistical analyst role
· Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
· Experience in data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Quicksight)
· Advanced SQL knowledge for data mining and processing
· Ability to work effectively with Data Engineers to mine the right data sources efficiently and accurately
· Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment
