We are looking for a stand out Business Analyst responsible for building out analysis, visualization tools and processes to inform our business decisions. The successful candidate will be able to retrieve, integrate, visualize and present critical data in a format that is immediately useful to improve the business decision-making process. This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities as well as an outstanding business acumen. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, who has a strong attention to detail, and enjoys working with large-scale data.

What does our team (Seller Reimbursements) do within the Supply Chain Execution organization?
The Seller Reimbursements team owns systems, tools and policies to balance Seller inventory and financial accounts if their items are lost or damaged during the Amazon fulfillment process. We innovate to act fast and accurately on behalf of Sellers so that they can trust their inventory and business is in good hands with Amazon.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Business Analyst who will help to audit, analyze, and develop the next generation of Seller reimbursement and inventory reconciliation systems, tools and policies.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
· Partner with operations, product management and software development teams to consult, develop and implement KPI’s, automated reporting solutions and data infrastructure improvements to meet business needs
· Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly reports, dashboards, etc.
· Write high quality SQL code to retrieve and analyze data from database tables (ex. Redshift, MySQL, Hubble), and learn and understand a broad range of Amazon’s data resources and know how, when, and which to use and which not to use
· Apply deep analytic and business intelligence skill to extract meaningful insights

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
· 4+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst/data analyst/statistical analysis role
· Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling · Experience using test / control methodology
· Experience extracting and processing data using SQL
· Experience conducting advanced statistical analysis (skilled in using one or more of R/SPSS/SAS/Python and etc.)
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
· Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
· Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment · Experienced in verbal and written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Supply Chain or related field
· 1+ years of experience in a business analyst/data analyst/statistical analyst role
· 1+ year of experience conducting analysis and data mining using Excel
· Experience with project management and process improvement
