Background

The Rail development team in Amadeus is located worldwide across 4 rail development departments (Sophia-Antipolis in France, Sydney in Australia, Bangalore in India and Bad-Homburg in Germany). We are collaborating with a large panel of Rail travel actors such as travel agencies, distributors and railways.

There are opportunities and challenges in the coming years, in which Amadeus aims at increasing the number of providers distributed as well as proposing new functionalities and products powered on cutting-edge technologies.

Apprenticeship purpose

Being able to adapt in an environment where customers are changing habits fast and where the competition is always at the door is critical nowadays for any business to survive.

Our customers want to be closer to their customers and differentiate from the competition. In order to do so, it is necessary to test new concepts more often and make sure to keep only the ones that provide positive outcomes.

Our products should allow just that!

The goal of this apprenticeship is to:

· Implement A/B testing or multi-variant testing for key components of our product offering
· Propose solutions to integrate online machine learning for continuous adjustment
· Aggregate the data and compute the KPIs necessary to conduct the A/B testing
· Integrate with an Amadeus framework for A/B test results
· Participate to design sessions, building and brainstorming on mockups
· Implement wireframes, screen flows or interactive prototypes with UX Team

Apprenticeship profile

· Graphical User Interface development
· Knowledge of browser internals like JavaScript engines and ways to tune code for best performance
· Experience developing with AngularJS, Angular 4+ or Angular 2 framework
· Fluent in spoken & written English.
· Will to learn and innovate
· Self-motivated and capable of working independently
· Curious, creative, open-minded, strong communication skills
· Bac+5 student ideally
