The Application Lifecycles, Platforms & Test Systems department provides to Amadeus Product Engineering groups the tools and support for managing their applications from code design (Non-Functional requirements) to product deployment, via test systems and performance testing.

In this scope, the mission of the ALT team in London is to provide tools for automating the building & releasing process for Online Service Requests (OSR) and tool to track the Change Control Board (CCB) approvals.

Main Responsibilities

Participate in design and development of tools used by R&D and Operational teams within Amadeus.

Ensure operability, stability and security of the production infrastructure, systems and applications.

Enforce awareness of operability concepts and best practises within R&D.

Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies of tools for the automation of the creation of testing environments, such as the Software Workbench.

Participate to the on-call roster for support and maintenance of these tools.

Education

Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience.

Relevant work experience

Demonstrable work experience gained within the development environment or equivalent.

In-depth knowledge of relevant technologies and functional area

Knowledge of OBE development, configuration, and deployment would be an advantage

Knowledge of ACS is a plus.

Business Understanding

Good understanding of the Web Development Process

Good overview and understanding of the Amadeus Change Management Process

Skills

Languages - Python, JavaScript, Templates

Specific Knowledge - Django Web Framework

Other - Distributed environment, Open Source technologies, Relational database management system or SQL
