The purpose of this role is to manage the APAC Partner distributor markets, from a financial perspective, and be the main point of contact for the distributors and internal stakeholders for Travel Channels (Business Unit)

India

• To act as the single Point of Contact for India, providing effective business support to the market management team.

• Manage relationship with our customers for distribution agreement in India.

• Handle India reconciliation / distribution fee agreement with our customers.

• Validate local shared account business cases in South Asia markets, working with the APM team and the distributor.

Korea

• To act as the single Point of Contact for Korea, providing effective business support to the market management team.

• Manage relationship with our customers for the distribution agreement in Korea.

• Handle Korea reconciliation / distribution fee agreement.

• Validate local shared account business cases in KOMO markets, working with the APM team and the distributor.

Partners SEA

• To act as the single Point of Contact for Partners SEA, providing effective business support to the market management team.

• Manage relationship with the distributors for the distribution agreement in SEA.

• Handle reconciliation / distribution fee agreement with Partners SEA team.

• Validate local shared account business cases in SEA markets, working with the APM team and the distributor.

Financial / Operational Planning Support

• As requested by the Controlling / Finance teams, support Travel Channels BU with financial and operational planning (Budget, Forecast, and LTP exercises). Ensure quantitative and qualitative data follows the growth strategy of the BU and meets the objectives of the BU and company requirements

• In coordination with Global Travel Channels Controlling, ensure data is correct and consistent within the APAC perimeter

• Maintain and create P&L reporting for all segments in APAC, coordinating with global TCH Controlling, providing the Finance teams with the information needed to support business stakeholders in the region

• Support integration of customer P&L reporting in Partner markets.

Business Process Systems / Ad-Hoc Requests

• Ensure that SAP and BPC reporting systems are producing the level of detail and figures expected

• Work closely with other Controlling, Corporate support, and BU stakeholders on projects as required

Requirements

Bachelors of Science degree in business or a related discipline, or a Bachelors of Arts degree with related coursework in Accounting

3-4years of experience, preferably with Big 4 / Accounting responsibility. Experience with negotiation desirable.

GDS industry experience preferable
