So, what will I actually be doing and what’s in it for me?

1.You will gain skills necessary in the accounting area to complement your studies and develop the abilities and attitudes which support the personal level of maturity required for the role of financial analyst.

2.This opportunity will enable you to understand the processes of monthly closings, travel expenses & accounts payable.

3.This role will enable you to gain knowledge of how The Madrid Accounting HUB carries out the activities related to the following:

· Amadeus ITG & Amadeus Spain Travel Expenses management:

In this role you will gain understanding with regards to the leading accounting treatment and communications around travel expenses. This includes the following:

· Review & posting of travel expenses related issues.
· Preparation of payments proposals following the corporate payment calendar, according to fiscal and audit requirements.
· Support Travel expenses tool migrations in other Group Companies.

· Monthly Closing Activities:

This role will require your support to check & analyse P&L (profit & loss) Travel related accounts, to analyse & explain variations and to reconcile employee accounts. Related to the monthly closing activities you will also understand the following:

· Receive, review and post the monthly credit card extract related to employee's Air and train tickets.
· Prepare the payment for Corporate Treasury.
· Receive, review and prepare the payment of Car Renting and Petrol Invoices.
· Management of Amadeus IT Amadeus Spain petty cash from an accounting perspective.

· Processes and tools development and maintenance:

You will gain knowledge to support in the development and implementation of new procedures and in the improvement and review of those already in use.

· Reporting process:

In this role you will also be given the opportunity to understand how to prepare monthly closing information as well as how the team collaborates with internal and external customers and auditors. You will give support in this reporting process to Group Accounting according to the Finance Calendar.

University degree Business Administration/ Economics

· Specific knowledge:

MS Office, SAP Finance

· Abilities & Skills:

Languages skills: Excellent oral and written English. Other languages - an asset
