Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this position are (listed but not limited):

·  Implement the AZDP Directives.
·  Participate in the EHS Challenge.
·  EHS Training.
·  Comply and spread the EHS Policy.
·  Implement and keep under control the EHS programs.
·  Improve and maintain the Environment, Health and Safety Management System.
·  Cooperate with the Environment, Health, Safety and Civil Protection Authorities and obtaining specific authorization.
·  Coordinate for all work places the Health and Safety control in order to prevent accidents and occupational illnesses. Investigate incidents and accidents.
·  Coordinate the EHS rules implementation.
·  Identify and follow-up EHS performance indicators.
·  Organize and participate in the EHS Monthly Committee.
·  Prepare reports to the management.
·  Constitute a team of auditors and perform EHS internal audits.
·  Elaborate and update the Emergency Plan and the Health and Safety Plan.
·  Apply and respect all internal procedures and rules.
·  Establish the EHS guides, policies and procedures.
·  Organize and conduct the EHS training programs based in the Alstom rules.
·  Participate in the inspection process of different working places (construction phase, installation phase, test phase and warranty phase).
·  Participate in the DDRM (Day to Day Risk Management) and SOV (Safety Observation Visit) programs.
·  Ensure the participation in the analysis of the root cause of potential accidents and incidents, in order to propose preventive and/or corrective measures.
·  To carry out evaluations and guide to all Alstom employees and subcontractors to identify risky points in order to improve methods of control.
·  Identify the different EHS requirements to be used by all Alstom employees and subcontractors personnel.
·  To manage the EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) procedures to guarantee the fulfillment of the law.
·  Lead EHS audits in the different work stations.
·  Participate in the evaluation of the different subcontractors before start operations.
·  Issue periodically documentation related to all inspections to inform our client the progress.
·  Participate and design the evacuation drills and implement the Emergency programs.
·  Support to comply with the Environment, Health, Safety and Civil Protection Laws, Norms and Legislation.

Education / Skills / Experience

Education:

·  Safety Technician Degree.
·  University Degree will be a plus.

Skills:

·  Communication Facility.
·  Empathic, Teamwork and Service Attitude.
·  Conflict Solving.
·  Dynamic and Proactive Person.
·  Microsoft Office.
·  Language: Spanish.

Experience:

·  3 years in EHS Programs as minimum.

Knowledge and experience in construction or industrial projects.
