What about the project?
AKKA is working for projects related to signaling system, respecting European norm : ERTMS (European Rail Traffic Management System) / ETCS (European Train Control System).
ERTMS aims at replacing the different national train control and command systems in Europe. Its deployment will enable the creation of a seamless European railway system and increase European railway's competitiveness :

Be apart of V&V team means working on onboarding equipment (integrated in the train) or rails equipment that are communicating together.
The main goal is to verify and test in a functional way the all system.
Main tasks:
- Reading and understanding of inputs: requirements specification documents,
- Study of a train and its auxiliary converter system and all its interfaces (hardware, software, power electronics, ….) and interactions,
- Design a validation scenario and translate it to test cases in a proprietary interface,
- Test execution, coverage and results verification,
- Formalize anomalies if any, to organize review to analyse anomalies and to request modifications if required,
- Follow-up the setting of the test bench and tools to carry-out the tests,
- Carry out regression tests after anomalies correction,
- Description and report document generation,
- Coordination / communication with all team members: System / Software colleagues
Profil:
Your profile:
- First experience in Software Validation (functional part)
- Open to junior profile
- Master degree / engineer diploma specialized in IT / Computer science / Industrial / Embedded System…
- Interest in transport / railway sector
- Fluent in English (written / spoken)
- Rigorous & Autonomous
- Team work
- Knowledge in signaling (ERTMS / ETCS / CBTC/ UNISIG) appreciated
- Knowledge in DOORS / REQTIFY appreciated
- Knowledge in Pyhon / LUA appreciated
