The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Tasks & accountabilities

For Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth within the Hydraulics department we are looking for a VIE - Strategic Buyer (f/m/d).

Within the strategic procurement, you will act as a buyer and be in charge of managing portfolio of various products and suppliers for the benefit of two commodities (Airframe/Electrical Systems (EDPAE) and Dynamics Systems/Hydraulics (EDPDH))

Start: 01.05.2020

Duration: 12 Monate (extention possible)

In this context, your main activities will include :

·  Lead negotiations with suppliers, including sourcing/supplier selection (especially in the scope of electrical components standard parts)
·  Negotiate and set up contracts with suppliers in line with strategic procurement policy and targets
·  Support obsolescence treatment
·  Support operational procurement/dispositionner in case of missed deliveries/missing parts

Required skills

You offer :

·  Master’s degree in Economics or Aeronautics
·  Solid academic knowledge about tender processes, contract and claims management as well as about compliance requirements
·  A previous experience in project lifecycle management and working with procurement IT tools would be a plus
·  German and English on advanced level
·  Furthermore you are a good team player, have excellent communication skills and are able to work independently
