A vacancy for a Technology specialist – New technologies has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse. You will join the Fulfil Applications Services France department.

The Fulfil Application Services France team based in Toulouse has a vacancy for a Technology Specialist for new technologies (Angular JS, Devops tools, API Mulesoft, Splunk, AWS… ) on all Business processes. The team is currently ensuring Business continuity on 120 applications for more than 30 000 users more and more oriented on new technologies.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  As a Transversal Technology Specialist, you will be the “Goto Guru”/ Subject Matter Expert advising and delivering new technologies (Angular JS, Devops tools, API Mulesoft, Splunk, AWS… ) or methodology use case for all Business processes.

·  You will be working as part of a Multi-functional team in conjunction with the needs of the Product manager to ensure delivering and deploying IT technologies, products and services.

·  You will collect, research and suggest solution to address requirements. You will also advise on the methodology and implementation approach. You should possess a deep transferable knowledge of new and emerging technologies, including the ability to autonomously develop POCs and to contribute to future IT strategies and standards.

·  Responsible for the reliability, efficiency and availability of the systems environment as well as the timely delivery and deployment of IT technologies, products and services.

·  You will be responsible with the team to secure the long term performance, stability and scalability of the systems, driving adoption of best practices, and developing new solutions/technologies to emerging problems.

·  Proves value of new technologies to establish business case

·  Updates the company guidelines and policies regarding the use of specific technology or methodology

·  Drives the update of the learning framework based on the known technology

·  Advises on specific topics related to the technology and/or methodology

·  Monitors technology and/or methodology trends and support the teams to apply these within the Airbus Environment

·  Guides and supports the selection of the appropriate technologies and/or methodologies

·  Monitors technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise’s competitive edge

·  Able to make recommendations for buy versus build decisions

This role will involve a few travel for business (once per quarter) worldwide and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to 5 years degree level (or equivalent) in IT, Engineering, or Aeronautic or a related discipline.

·  3 to 5 years of experience in Information Systems

·  Experience in IT Architecture & Product Design

·  Experience in Technology Trend Monitoring

·  Knowledge of the following tools: Angular JS, Devops tools (Jenkins, SonarQube, Gitflow...), API Mulesoft, Splunk, AWS

·  IT & Business Strategy Alignment mindset

·  Team Player

·  Good communication & active listening

·  Able to manage a mission from beginning to end

·  Language Skills: advanced level of English and French
