The Supply Chain Operations Team is an exciting opportunity as it links the Airbus operations world with the procurement world. The Main purpose of this department is to lead the end to end Supply Chain process for all procured goods delivered into the UK plants in Filton and Broughton. It follows a fast pacing change process that is making use of digitalisation initiatives and business process optimisation. It is the privileged area to grow your future Supply Chain expertise.

Tasks & accountabilities

An exciting opportunity has opened within the Procurement organisation for the position of an intern. Based at Broughton, the successful candidate will support the supply chain operations team in the UK.

During your internship you will be actively involved in the management of the material flows in order to ensure that outsourced and purchased products are delivered on time, quality and cost to satisfy customers and launch first level of corrective and preventive actions.

You will contribute to initiatives working with a wide range of Communities and Functions across the E2E Supply Chain including the deployment of the Airbus Digital Strategy Quantum into the Procurement Operations Teams in the UK.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

You must be an undergraduate for the full duration of the placement studying towards a degree in the following: Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing or Engineering.

·  Open to transnational working

·  Fluent level of English
