Customer Services Repair Engineer

·  A vacancy for a Repair Engineer has arisen in the pylon repair team in Saint Eloi (Toulouse)
·  Our repair engineers provide the technical solution to the Airline aligned with their needs and expectations in case of in-service issues.
·  Our repair team are part of the Follow The Sun concept, involving partners and subcontractors around the world supporting the customer 24/7

We are a team of 10 engaged engineers and technicians.

We are working on an End to End repair activities, from Daily support to the spare definitions and through continuous improvements/projects (Digital, Spares improvements, Using new technologies, AOG reductions …)

WHAT you will really do?

·  For Daily Activities : Analyze and define the applicable justification means and methods for repairs.
·  For Major repairs : Perform the structural strength analyses associated to those repairs declared as Major Repairs, requiring an extensive assessment of the damage and the appropriate repairs to be carried out as per customer expectations.
·  For Spare activities :
·  Create and define the predefined solutions and spares parts. Optimize the anticipation solution according to the manufacturing end of production & spare consumption & design solution
·  Contributing and supporting the development of ALM repair drawing in the frame of rapid spares
·  Identify and support local improvement initiatives to increase team efficiency through process, methods and tools improvements
·  Sharing in-service feedbacks with the design network to ensure lesson learnt are integrated in the new designs
·  Ensure all tasks and activities required for Repair Engineering are correctly planned, monitored and executed to achieve customer time scales
·  Be a member of an integrated engineering team, ensuring its strategy, policy and direction is maintained.

·  You have previous experience in Manufacturing / Engineering

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a 5 years-degree level (or equivalent) in Stress Engineering, Aircraft Design or a related discipline,
·   At least 3 years-experience in Engineering: Repairs knowledge and stress analyses of aircraft structures (Fatigue and Static).
·  Preferred experience (development for primary structure / stress justification), repair knowledge can be a plus
·  Experience in propulsion system /Nacelle component are a strong plus
·  Familiar with Airbus process/Tools (Hypermesh, Nastran, ISAMI)
·  Known well for Aircraft design principle
·  Ability to translate customer requirements into operational deliverables and prioritize,
·  Ability to liaise/negotiate with Customer Services and risk sharing partners,
·  Overall understanding of the fundamental method of stress,
·  Good interpersonal skills, flexibility and adaptable and leadership mindset,
·  Demonstrated problem solving ability,
·  Language skills : Advanced of English. Intermediate of French would be an asset.
