Description of the job

A position as Structural Repair Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe (Madrid). The successful applicant will join TEASA-TL6 department.

Tasks & accountabilities

The main accountabilities of this position will be to:

·  Define, Develop maintain & support Structure process methods & tools for Non conformities and In Service Repairs Structural justification (Linear & Non linear analyses).
·  Strength, Fatigue and Damage Tolerance justifications for Non conformities and In Service Repairs.
·  Contribute to deploy structure capabilities.
·  Ensure support to Production and Services community for overall structure perimeter.
·  Ensure advanced services and Design applications to structure community.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to an Engineering degree or a related discipline. (3 to 5 years)
·  With Previous experience on ADS programs will be appreciated:
·  Experience in Design or Manufacturing concepts would be appreciated
·  Knowledge of: M&L, A330MRTT, A400M, A380Belly Fairing, FanCowls (A340, A380 and A320Neo) and Falcon 7X/8X
·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
·  Able to propose new ideas
·  English :Advanced
·  Spanish :Advanced
