Description of the job

A position as Stress Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe (Madrid). The successful applicant will join TEASA-TL4 department.

Tasks & accountabilities

The main accountabilities of this position will be to:

·  Support to Design department.
·  Support to Manufacturing and assembly process.
·  Structural modifications management and justifications.
·  Support to risk assessments justifications for in service events.
·  Composite and metallic sizing and justifications (use of Finite Element Models and Airbus tools for the Reserve Factor calculations) associated to the current programs.
·  Communications with the different departments to find solutions, propose improvements during the specific phases for the current programs

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
·  Able to propose new ideas
·  English :Advanced
·  Spanish :Advanced
