Description of the job

In 2019 for Airbus Defence and Space in Manching we are looking for several Software Engineers Simulation (d/f/m). The successful applicants will join “TEATS – Simulation”.

Tasks & accountabilities

- Ableitung der Systemanforderungen für Entwicklungs- und Trainingssimulationssysteme
- Entwicklung und Wartung von Simulationssoftware für Simulationsanwendungen
- Integration von Simulationsmodellen in die Simulationssoftware / Entwicklungs- und Trainingssimulationssysteme
- Modulverantwortung für dedizierte Subsysteme
- Systemtechnik für Flugschulungs-/Ingenieursimulatoren, einschließlich Systemdesign und Anforderungsmanagement
- Validierung / Verifizierung von Simulationssoftware und Komponenten
- Dokumentation der entsprechenden Softwaremodule
- Unterstützung des Simulatorbetriebs

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- University graduate in computer science/ computer engineering/ aeronautical engineering / aerospace engineering or similar
- Knowledge in the computer science domain
- Experience in object orientated software design and simulation models
- Experience object orientated programming C++
- Experience in integration testing of developed software module
- Knowledge of tools / technologies:
• C++
• XML, Subversion SVN, GIT
• Linux
• MS Work, MS Excel
• Enterprise Architect or any other SySMl, UML Tool desired
• ADA desired
• Agile Development Methodologies desired
- Knowledge in the aerospace domain (flight dynamics, avionics, simulation, simulators) desired
- Capability to work independently
- Analytical & structured thinking
- Ability to develop software for different hardware setups
- Proficient in English, German desirable
- Spanish is an advantage
