A position of software architect has just opened within Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse. You will join the Technical Engineering department (TECIE2).

In collaboration with a Scrum development team, you will be in charge of designing the software architecture of a specific component used within the context of Pleaides Neo satellites.

This position requires a security authorization or to be eligible to an authorization by recognized authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

You are in charge of the following activities:
• You are the reference for the logical architecture of the software component.
• You produce the reference design documentation for the component
• You work closely with system architect in order to meet the technical and functional expectations
• You drive specific technical studies (spikes) in order to assess the viability of critical choices
• You keep the pace with the various technologies, standards and protocols in use
• You participate in the scaled-agile organization meetings

Required skills

You have the experience and following skills :
• Strong experience of Java and Spring on backend systems
• Good experience in system design and architecture, particularly in geomatics contexts
• Basic experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery
• Good knowledge in ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL and also Git, SonarQube and Docker
• Good experience in agile teams
• Synthetic, rigorous and consistent.
• Proactive and good communication skills
• French: fluent. English: intermediate
