Job Description

For Airbus Defence and Space in Manching we are looking for an Avionics SubSystem and Software Requirement Engineer (f/m/f) in the department 'Tornado System Design Team'.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Review of system requirements documents 
·  Define interface descriptions
·  Specify and maintain subsystem requirements for new mission computers
·  Specify and maintain the subsystem design for new mission computers
·  Specify and maintain high-level software requirements for new mission computers
·  Support of verification activities (reviews / analyses) 

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Master's degree (or equivalent) in engineering or a related discipline
·  Broad experience in mission systems and system architecture
·  Wide experience with avionics systems
·  Doors, Jira/Confluence
·  Mindset and understanding of the purpose of ARP4754 /DO-178C or comparable design assurance standards and related processes
·  Mindset and understanding for an agile way of working
·  Language skills: German and English: Negotiation level
