Description of the job :
As part of the Engineering Solutions team in IT, you are responsible for supporting the process improvement activities within the group and the Digitalisation Program, in particular the platform development for 3D printing. Our solutions act as a digital bridge between the parties who have a need for 3D printing and online service providers distributed around the world across the Airbus group. You are highly technical and comfortable with both client-side and server-side programming in a web environment, and have a design eye for detail on the user interface. You partner with various peers teams including security, networks, and infrastructure as well as other key stakeholders of our products around the world. You troubleshoot, respond to enquiries and find solutions to technical challenges including software testing. Beyond the day-to-day, you lead or participate in key engineering projects and contribute to the documentation efforts.

Task & accountabilities :
• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
• Lead web development projects through system design, developing code and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews.
• Debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks.
• Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health.
• Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
• Lead infrastructure and software projects and coordinate the necessary technical deliveries in partnership with peer teams in IT.
• Manage server side infrastructure running on both physical and virtual resources.
• Maintain systems to current IT security standards.
• Travel occasionally to participate in local and European workshops.

Required skills :
Essential experience:

• Experience of working in a technical project environment.
• Understanding of LAN/WAN networks.
• Microsoft .NET C#
• Microsoft SQL Server
• SQL and T-SQL
• JavaScript
• HTML & CSS

Any experience of the following would be an advantage, but not essential - training is provided:

• Telerik Libraries
• Bootstrap CSS Library
• Three.js Library
• API experience
• Image processing
• Web 3D rendering experience
• Strong customer service, organizational, prioritization, multitasking, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to adjust quickly to changing
