Description of the job

A position as Mission Debriefing and Post-Flight System Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe (Madrid). The successful applicant will join TEAMG.
In Airbus Defense and Space, TEAMG is responsible for Military Aircraft Electronic Warfare and Combat Ground Support Systems. In Getafe, we are looking for a Mission Debriefing and Post-Flight System Engineer for the department TEAMG – TL3 GSS A/C Interfaces.
This position will bring you the opportunity to work in different Ground Support contexts such as Recording and Monitoring Aircraft Systems, Geographical Information Systems with 2D/3D Views, Simulation and Post-Flight Data Analysis.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Requirements Analysis of Mission Debriefing and Post-Flight Analysis Systems.
·  Involvement in all the development phases: System Definition, Development, Integration, Testing and Delivery.
·  Interface with the SW Development Team, acting also as internal Product Owner.
·  Interface with other areas such as Programme Management Office, Procurement, ILS, etc.
·  Collaboration in international environment.
·  Product Demonstrations to Customers. Capture Customer needs aiming to identify new opportunities.
·  Commitment with the continuous improvement and evolution of our solutions promoting innovation

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
·  Experienced in System Engineering
·  Desirable knowledge of Ground Support Systems and/or Electronic Warfare
·  Experienced in Agile Development methods would be an advantage.
·  Big Data and Data Analytics knowledge would be a plus.
·  Knowledge of aircraft avionics and interfaces would be desirable.
