Airbus offer a unique and exciting internship opportunity, enabling you to learn and work alongside satellites as well as allowing you to test your programming skills and refine them to reach an industry standard. The office is a welcoming environment, in which everyone is knowledgeable and more than happy to assist. You will have the chance to see the environments that the payloads are being built in, and see how the software you will be contributing towards has an impact and is used within this process.

Task & accountabilities:

During this internship, the activities you may undertake will include;

·  Given Documentation to learn and understand the code base which you will be working on
·  Developing, documenting and testing code which you have written
·  Involvement within a multi-developer agile team
·  Researching and utilising cutting-edge technologies
·  Pair programming with an experienced developer

Please note our Internships are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following;

·  Degree, 2:1 or above in Computing, Computer Science, Software Development for Business or equivalent
·  An understanding of Object Oriented Principles
·  Good problem solving skills
·  A solid foundation in Java/C#
·  An interest in programming and technology
·  Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns
