It is an exciting time to join the Information Management (IM) Team. IM is the Information Technology (IT) business enabler and unique IM Business Partner for Airbus Defence and Space.

As an IT Project Manager / Business Analyst for Supply Management you support to maintain business relations with Supply Management. You will be one of our focal points in front of business departments in order to gather business requirements and giving consultancy in terms of best practice process approach. You will lead Sub-Projects from project planning to execution and entry into service phase/operations.

As a new IT technologies (e.g. graphical design and others) person with high affinity to business processes, you will be in charge to translate business needs into digital data and workflows creating the transition into digital solutions.
You will work closely with business and various IT Teams to turn business opportunities into projects and IT services. Based on this you will contribute to manage the interface between the Supply Management organization and IT delivery departments like Big Data, Advanced Analytics, BI, ETL, Architecture, IoT, Artificial Intelligence, etc..
Business focus, strong analytical and problem solving skills are your strength. You do have affinity to IT Project Management. Excellent written and communication skills to report back the findings in a clear, structured manner are required.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your Responsibilities/Tasks

·  Business Requirements gathering and alignment for Supply Management

·  Alignment with other IT teams in order to transfer business requirements into procurement digital solution

·  Contribute to identify areas for improvement in Supply Management business processes with taking latest market trends in terms of digitalization into account

·  Capture and Define business requirements together with business departments

·  Analyse business requirements and translate them into IM solutions, writing requirements specification, functional specifications, business processes and business cases related to the proposed solutions

·  Sub-Project Management for Digital Supply Chain solutions

·  Initiate and manage Sub-Projects according to Airbus Defence and Space methodologies

·  Communication and coordination with other IT áreas.
