Description of the job

A vacancy for a IT: Fleet and Flight Ops Specialist has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Barajas.
The successful applicant will join TOIAC3 in the Information Management department.

Your Role

·  As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for modelling complex Business problems, discovering Business insights and identifying opportunities through the use of statistical, algorithmic and experience. The role is also proficient at integrating and preparing large, varied solutions.
·  You will work closely with Business, project/program managers, and other IT teams to turn requirements into a solution that fit for purpose in the Fleet management area. Other responsibilities will include providing solutions that are congruent and reliable. You will need to be a creative thinker able to propose innovative ways to look at problems. You will need to validate your findings using an experimental and iterative approach. Present back these findings to the business in a way that can be easily understood by the business stakeholders.
·  Business focus, strong analytical and problem solving skills and programming knowledge to be able to easily communicate with development team. Excellent written and communications skills structured manner are required.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Your main responsibilities will be focus on supporting the definition, development and deployment for Maintenance, Maintenance engineering and Fleet Management Systems including its evolutions within a Digital environment.
·  Setting up and maintaining the necessary means in order to provide the best level of service for customers.
·  Ensuring a good interface with the customers, and development teams.
·  Defining integrated solution, including A/C when it is needed.
·  Developing functional analysis.
·  Anticipate potential problems by means of a deep testing definition and execution.
·  Correctly and rapidly analysing the customer queries so that you can find the solution yourself or transfer the case to the right people.
·  Correctly assessing the severity of problems (for prioritization when needed).
·  Applying the correct support procedures and propose improvements.
·  Identifying ideas for growing or reducing cost using digitalization in an industrial frame.

For Digital projects:

·  Providing end-to-end business project management throughout the project life cycle.
·  Scoping of digital projects with internal or external customers, understanding their individual requirements and creating accurate documentation (BRD,s) including rapid demonstrators applications.
·  Production of appropriate business documentation in support of digital projects including plans, risks, requirement specification dossier, budgets and external communications.
·  Organizing the user testing and guarantying the quality of delivery to client.
·  Write periodical business project report.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  You are graduated in Computer Science with an experience of at least 1 year developing systems.
·  At least 3 years of experience in engineering.
·  At least 3 years of experience in Information Systems.
·  At least 3 years of experience in Project management.
·  At least 3 years of experience in Team management.
·  You are familiar with information systems and aeronautics concepts.
·  You are highly concerned by customer and service-minded.
·  You are known for your good coordination and relational skills, your tenacity, your good presentation skills (both oral and written), and your high adaptability-flexibility.
·  You are able to assume new responsibilities and challenges
·  A negotiation level in English is mandatory.
·  French and German would be a plus
