Description of the job :
A temporary replacement for a Business Transformation Officer for Lean and Agile Product Development (m/f) position has arisen within Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) in Getafe. You will join the Lean and Agile competence group (EXL) of the Airbus Commercial Engineering Transformation Program.

You will act as a key player of the company transformation towards more lean and agile ways of working concentrating on design and product development activities.

Task & accountabilities :
Mission:
- An internal reference to drive and enable the achievement of business excellence by the application of the business improvement fundamentals, based on lean and right first time lean principles, and associated methods and approaches such as Lean / Operating systems, Problem Solving and Quality Standards. Develops and contributes to the evolution and maintenance of the improvement referential, and leads the transfer and coaching of improvement concepts, principles, tools & techniques, and the development of autonomy/competency in the business.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
• Act as a Design Coach on Lean and Agile product (Aircraft) development :
o Diagnose and recommend Business on areas for improvement
o Support and Coach Executive managers and Agile Teams management
o Promote best practices from operational teams to executive managers

• Deploy Lean and Agile enablers by offering the right competences to the Aircraft development teams and Transformation projects:
o Communicate and run awareness sessions
o Deliver training sessions
o Coach on the job (methods and tools, mindset, behaviour)
o Ensure sustainability of enablers

This role might involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills :
You will have the following skills and experience:
• Educated to a Master degree level (or equivalent) in Aerospace or Industrial Engineering
• Experience in Lean Product development
• Experience in Agile transformation of organizations
• Coaching/training competencies, Leadership, Assertiveness to influence and challenge the status quo
• Strong knowledge and understanding of design and product development activities for complex industrial products
• Knowledge beyond Engineering would be beneficial (ideally knowledge of manufacturing)
• Good communication skills, active listening and a pro-active approach to problem solving & decision making
• Experienced in project management, including multifunctional teams and financial aspects
• Negotiation level of Spanish and English
• Native Spanish speaker will be a plus
