Description of the job

An excellent opportunity for a Recent Graduate OR Last Year Student Engineer to support the evolution of multiple 800 Flight Hours check tasks for the Zonal Maintenance Program in A330-A340 Fleet.

The selected applicant will have direct contact with aircraft in service worldwide and will be capable at the end of the internship period to provide appropriate answers to the Customers and EASA about reported issues on the A330-A340 fleet.

The applicant will be involved also in side works such as identify/track/monitor KPIs, process definition, contribute to projects, analyze and integrate feedback (continuous improvement), planning, roadmaps, visibility.

Tasks & accountabilities

Airbus Maintenance Program Engineering department takes care of maintaining the continuous airworthiness of the aircraft during the entire ‘life cycle', from aircraft program development and in-service life, which covers around 25-30 years' time lapse.
As part of this mission, you will support the following tasks:

·  Represent Airbus image and interests in front of the Industry (Airworthiness Authorities and Customers) to achieve a safe, reliable, cost effective and competitive Maintenance Program in compliance with applicable Airworthiness Regulations at international meetings (Maintenance Working Groups/Industry Steering Committees).
·  Establish the link between engineering and in-service worlds contributing to a maximum aircraft operability and maturity.
·  Identify initial Scheduled Maintenance Tasks applicable to one aircraft family designed concept to keep its continuous airworthiness along the years and identifying the need of additional Scheduled Maintenance Tasks if applicable.
·  Adjust the initial interval of the Scheduled Maintenance Tasks to its optimum level by data collection and analysis from in-service experience.
·  Answering direct Technical Queries from Customer.

Required skills

·  Recent Graduates OR Last Year Students in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
·  English: Negotiation level
·  Spanish: Negotiation level
·  Skilled in Microsoft Office
·  Able to work as a team player
