Description of the job

The jobholder is accountable / responsible for performing and supporting the Spanish
Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Operational Working Group (OWG) activities as well
as acting as technical assistant of the Eurofighter OWG Spain Leader.

Tasks & accountabilities

· For Eurofighter program, ILS Configuration management:
o Integrate the SIA (Support Impact Analysis) done by each ILS Discipline
into a single file for Eurofighter projects
o Draft ILS RFAs (Request For Alteration) for Eurofighter projects
o Draft ILS ICCs (Industry Change Candidate) for Eurofighter projects
o Draft ICAs (ILS Change Authority, for non-configured items) for
Eurofighter projects
o Support to CGM (Comité General de Modificaciones, Modifications
General Committee), assessing RFAs / Mods / ICCs at that committee
as ILS representative in both Getafe and Hallbergmoos (EF GmbH
Forums)
o Support the ICA and SIA monitoring (teleconferences) for Eurofighter
projects
o Draft ILS Configuration Reports
o Assess Equipment Alteration Proposal Forms (EAPFs) which will rise to
RfAs
o Potential coordination of RfAs as consequence of In Service (IS) Repair
Instructions (RIs)
· For Other Combat Programs:
o ILS Configuration activities
· Update and maintain ILS Configuration database (Configuration Management
System (CMS) & Microsoft Office tools) content/info
· Support to ILS Data Manager activities
· Coordination/Interface with Supplier Control for equipment EAPFs
· Support the drawing-up of new requirements to IT tools (CMS, etc)
· Update and improvement of Configuration processes
Outputs:
· Integrated SIA
· ILS RFAs, ILS impact assessment
· ILS ICCs, ILS impact assessment
· ICAs (ILS non-configured items), ILS impact assessment
· ILS Configuration Reports, checking EPCs contribution to SIAs
The jobholder has a direct reporting line to the Head of Program Representative EF
Spain and functionally to the Eurofighter ILS OWG Spain Leader, being operationally
day-to-day in contact with the Configuration focal points of the ILS disciplines and the
configuration management community (Engineering, PMO, etc).

Required skills

Educated to Engineering (Aeronautics, Industrial or Telecommunication) is required
(Master degree will be a plus)
Eurofighter systems knowledge is mandatory
Experience in Configuration is required
Experience in Engineering is desired
Data Bases experience as final user and as features developer (Access, Microsoft ®)
Big Data knowledge is desired
Project Management knowledge/experience will be a plus
English & Spanish: Negotiation level
At least 5 years of professional experience, at least 2 years in Services
