Description of the job

A position as Fuel system engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe (Madrid). The successful applicant will join TEAMA-TL1 department.
The position is within the Air to Air Refuelling- Fuel systems department. We are in charge of integration of fuel systems and fuel dispense devices for Air Refuelling, for different platforms such as MRTT or A400M.

Tasks & accountabilities

In general, the activity consists in defining and integrating Air to Air Refueling fuel systems matching the required safety, quality and performance levels according to Airbus systems engineering processes and the needs of our customers.
The main accountabilities of this position will be to: Specify, Design, qualify and certify the AAR systems considering the following factors: Safety, Systems Performance, Cost, Environmental, Operational and Industrial Requirements.
In particular, the activity will be focused in the analysis of the data produced by the Air refueling systems and how to use them to provide new features such as predictive maintenance or solution of in-service issues.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline (3 to 5 years)
·  With 3 to 5 years of experience in Team management.
·  Previous experience in A400M and/or MRTTs programs as System engineer will be appreciated.
·  English :Advanced
·  Spanish :Advanced
