Description of the job

Airbus Helicopters in Donauwoerth is looking for a Flight Test Instrumentation Technician (m/f) within the area FLIGHT TEST INSTRUMENTATION DON for the department ETXMI.

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognised authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your responsibilities will include:

·  Instrumentation and wiring of prototype helicopters

·  Preparation and integration of Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) systems

·  Installation of sensors incl. strain gauges and calibration

·  Support and maintenance of Flight Test Instrumentation systems during flight tests on site and on external campaigns

·  General measurement technology and electronics

·  Willingness to travel abroad

Required skills

We are looking for candidates (m/f) with the following skills:

·  Successfully completed vocational training in electrical engineering or similar

·  Practical experience in the field of analog sensors and their acquisition

·  Professional experience in the field of test metrology for automotive or aerospace applications

·  Practical technical knowledge of Ethernet and IP protocols, standards and tools

·  Negotiation level in English
